► General Meetings

General Meetings

General meetings are the main decison making body of Newman Students Union. We look forward to seeing all of our members (thats all students at Newman!) at these meetings.

There are two sorts of general meetings :

•  General Meetings may take place more than once a year. Any student can submit items for discussion, debate, motions, policy or other relevant subjects to these meetings. Please see 'Submit Something' for more instructions to do this!
•  
• Annual General Meetings take place once a year. These include the same as a general meeting and in addition will also recieve the Students Unions Annual Report and Annual Budget for discussion and approval for the following year.

REMEMBER, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE YOUR SAY AND ENSURE YOUR UNION IS WORKING ON WHAT YOU WANT IT TO!

The next meeting is :

Annual General Meeting on 22nd May 2012, 2pm in the Main Lecture Theatre.

The Following Societies and Associations would like to affliate to Newman Students' Union or have made consitutional changes that need to be ratified:

Anima and Manga Assiciation (Changes)

Philosphy Society (New Group) + Shown interest
