Coming to University is an exciting time to learn more about yourself and those around you. As an independent organisation, Newman Students’ Union offers free and confidential academic advice and support for students whilst studying at Birmingham Newman University.
If you have any queries, questions or worries whilst you are here, then please feel free to contact us or pop into the Union Office.
Appointments:
Our advice service is open between 10:00am and 4:00pm Monday – Friday. We offer walk in appointments however bookings are preferable due to the volume of case work. Our Student Voice and Advice Co-Ordinator is located in the Students’ Union office just off the main atrium.

About me
My name is Zoe Harrison and I am your Student Voice and Advice Co-Ordinator! I studi.jpg)
ed at Birmingham Newman University between 2018 and 2022 and graduated with a 2:1 in Studies in Primary Education. During my time in higher education, I realised I had a passion for the Student Movement and very quickly fell in love with Student Union’s and Student Voice. During my time as a Sabbatical Officer at the Students’ Union, I learnt so much about myself, the Union’s services and what we can do for students, and I look forward to implementing all of it in this role.
