Just a quick note to say, we hope you had a great Christmas to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Along with this, a massive congratulations for getting through the first Semester at Newman for the 2023/2024 academic year!

We really hope that you are having a well deserved rest over this break and come back in January ready to go again.

The two key things we want you to remember is that we have started our strategic conversation aimed at shaping the future of our Students' Union. The first stage of this is a survey aimed at getting your views and input.

The survey is running  from December 13th 2023 - January 15th 2024. This will give you the opportunity to answer a series of simple questions about who you are, your university experience, your experience of the Union and what you care about in a future Students' Union.

The survey will take no more than 20 minutes of your time and to say thank you, we will enter you into a draw to WIN some amazing prizes including one of 6 - £25 Amazon Vouchers, Newman Branded Merchandise and Union Event Tickets.

As well as this, in January 2024 we will be welcoming you back to campus in style! This week of events gives you the opportunity to come back together with friends or make new ones too. Tickets for this week include:

- Entry to our Quiz on the 30th January 

- Entry to our Back To School themed Welcome Back Party 

- Entry into the four bars/clubs as part of the Bar Crawl 

Alongside this, there will be other events taking place throughout this week which will be free entry (more information to be released in January)!
