This is a littler reminder that nominations are still open for our part time officer roles. These roles are a fantastic way to get involved in Union life and support causes that are close to your heart. The part time officers will be supported by Cloudy and myself, so please don't worry about not knowing what to do, we have your back and will guide you along your journey. 

Being a part time officer is a way to create a manifesto and campaign on matters that students will benefit from.

Another aspect the Union is working on currently is gathering the voice of people with black heritage for our video, My Black History. This can be a spoken word piece, poem, a vocal piece, or even your aspirations of why you are studying at Birmingham Newman University and how your history has shaped you into the person you are now. This has never been done by the Union before and I would really appreciate your support in getting this project off the ground. Please register your interest by clicking here filming will take place on campus on 21 and 22nd October and we will be as flexible as possible around your prior commitments.
