Here is a run down of what is happening at the Union this week:
Ramadan Mubarak
Ramadan Mubarak to all that will be taking part in Ramadan, the SU in collaboration with the Chaplaincy and the Library will be offering a free gift of water and dates, if you need to break your fast while on campus, you can pick a bag up in the SU.
Elections
The SU Elections are now in full swing. Nominations open on the 10th March 2025. If you would like to find out more about what the elections are and how to stand and vote please click here. If you are on campus and would like to ask questions about the Union and get a feel for how you can be involved there are three Election Information Sessions running i the Union Office:
Election Information Session 1 - Monday 3rd March 2-4pm.
Election Information Session 1 - Wednesday 5th March 2-4pm.
Election Information Session 1 - Friday 7th March 2-4pm.
Call for participants
My name is Sarah Lisney, I am currently in the third year of studying Mental health and Counselling . For my dissertation project I am investigating " What is the experience of NHS CBT in students who self-identify with anxiety and depression? A thematic analysis". I am looking for participants who are over 18 years old, a university student and there is an inclusion and exclusion criteria that must be met. This should take no longer then 10-15 minutes to complete. If you wish to take part, please click here.
