Just wanted to reach out and let you know about some things that are going on over the next few weeks (apart from elections!)
Dissertation Participants Fair is on Tuesday, March 18th, from 10-2 pm in the atrium. For those who need participants and have received ethical approval to have human participant, there are still some stalls available so please email me here to book a table. I would encourage as many students as possible to come and show your support.
I've left it too late! Now What?! Is on Thursday, March 20th, from 11.30-12.30pm in CH204 Sometimes there just isn't enough time; despite your best efforts, assignments can creep up on you. Learn how to cope with assignments when you're short on time. During this workshop we will cover re-evaluating realistic goals, and managing self-care when prioritising assignments. We will also cover some evidence-based techniques which support neurodivergent thinking.

Charity Fundraiser with The Pink Limes, is on Friday 4th April, 7.30-late in Sense Bar - Open to Students & Staff
This live band event is not to be missed! Help support Dr Emma Powell, Senior Lecturer from the Faculty of Education who undertaking the huge challenge of running the London Marathon on April 27th . Emma is raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a charity that is very close to her heart. CF is a genetic condition that causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and the digestive system. If affects more than 10,800 people in the UK and one in 25 of us carries the faulty gene, usually without knowing.
There is an optional dress code of yellow; be it an item of clothing or an accessory. In the led up to the event there will be the opportunity to buy some raffle tickets. Every penny raised will help to improve the lives of many children and adults with Cystic Fibrosis, book tickets here.
