Hi everyone. Welcome to this week's Whats on Email! We have lots for you guys to get involved in and I can't wait to tell you all about it!
This week we are running 2 amazing events. This Tuesday our Disability and Neurodiverse Society are hosting a talent show at Senses Lounge from 8:00pm. Tickets will be £3 each and our available to purchase on our website. It would be lovely to see as many of you there as possible to support the society in raising awareness for Disability Awareness Month.
Thursday 16th November 10:30am – 12:30pm in collaboration with the Chaplaincy team, lecturers from Studies in Primary Education and some of our amazing students, we are hosting a raffle tombola outside the SU to raise money for the Egyptian Red Crescent (a partner of the Red Cross) who are able to get humanitarian aid to those suffering as a result of events in Gaza and Israel. If you have any unwanted items that you think would be suitable to raffle off then please bring them to the SU or the Chaplaincy office by Thursday before 10:00am.
On Friday 17th November we are hosting a Pyjama Party at Senses Lounge to raise money for Children in Need where donations will be welcome, so pop your pyjamas on and come and support this amazing cause!
Some of our students are also running a Dodgeball Tournament Wednesday 22nd November 1:00pm - 3:00pm in the sports hall. This is open to all staff and students so make sure you come along!0
