This week 7 students came to the 'Cuppa & Chat'; it felt like the last 'Cuppa & Chat' was only yesterday and it was only on Friday. The idea behind rotating these get-togethers was for as many students to come along as possible.
Sadly, there were no biscuits, but we did have some sweet & salty popcorn, which brought about conversations on whether sweet or savoury foods were better, randomly getting us onto other food topics. The tale of the Haggis in Scotland came up albeit very different to the urban legend in this link https://haggiswildlifefoundation.com/the-ancient-history-of-the-wild-haggis/.
We also discussed people learning to drive, the test wait times and the costs involved. A few rounds of Blackjack were played again!
There isn't a 'Cuppa & Chat' during reading week, but it'll be back on Wednesday 6th November 10.30-12pm
