The Union staff work closely with the Officers and Trustees to deliver outstanding operational services to the students at Newman. As a small group of staff, each of the team has specific duties, however they work collaboratively to deliver new intiatives and projects across the organisation. Union Director - Robin Pitt
The Union Director is the senior staff member who is responsible for the development of the organisation and the management of the Students' Union staff team. He works directly with the Executive Committee to ensure that they have the resources and support to deliver their objectives for the year. The Union Director reports to the Board of Trustees to ensure that the organisation is legally and financially compliant, and oversees the delivery of the Union Strategy.
To maintain our strong partnership with the University, the Union Director is also a member of a number of University Operational Committees and acts as the professional link with the University Senior Leadership.

Student Voice & Governance Co-ordinator - Charlotte O'Neill
The Student Voice & Governance Coordinator is responsible for the administration and development of student voice at Newman. This includes the Academic Rep System, the Executive Committee, Student Forum and the Trustee Board. Through their support, the committees of the Union operate in a professional manner, allowing the Union to be truly effective and representative of students at Newman. They also play a pivotal role in the delivery of Campaigns and Project run by the Students’ Union.
With the Student Voice & Advice Co-ordinator, they form the Student Voice & Advice Team and produce the annual Student Voice Report.

Student Voice & Advice Co-ordinator - Zoe Harrison
The Student Voice & Advice Co-ordinator is responible for the running of the Students' Union Advice Service. The Students' Union Advice Service provide immartial advice to students relating to academic matters. These include Academic Misconduct, Academic Appeals, Complaints and Mitigating Circumstances. Guidance and representation is also provide in the areas of Fitness to Practice, Fitness to Study and Student Disciplinaries. As well as the Advice Service, they also assist the Student Voice & Governance Coordinator with various Voice initiatives and producing annual Student Voice reports.
